EXAMPLES
Case 1 I lent my friend £400.00 2 months ago. He agreed to repay the money in 4 weeks. Despite my phone calls, nothing has been paid.
Case 2 My car broke down. I had it towed to a garage. They said the engine had worn out. They suggested fitting a second hand engine to which I agreed. I paid in full for the work. After 8 days, the engine had "seized". I contacted the garage and they didn't want to know.
